Frequently asked questions

How does it all work?

I like to keep things simple but structured. We’ll start with a conversation to understand your goals and challenges. From there, I’ll create a clear proposal with recommended approaches. Depending on your needs, that might mean a one-off project, a strategy review, or ongoing support. Throughout, I work collaboratively and keep communication straightforward so you always know where things stand.

How much do you charge?

Every project is different, and costs depend on the scope, complexity, and level of involvement required. I offer options to suit different budgets, from short advisory sessions through to ongoing retained support. Once I understand your needs, I’ll provide a clear proposal so you know exactly what to expect.

Are the options I see online the only thing you do?

The services listed are my core areas of focus, but over the years I’ve worked across almost every part of marketing. From digital campaigns like PPC, paid social and SEO, to setting up new CRM systems, managing big partnerships, brand activations and content creation. If you have a specific project in mind, share the details in your enquiry and I’ll let you know how I can best support. And if it’s not something I’m the right fit for, I’ll happily point you toward someone who is.

Who do you typically work with?

I believe the principles of great marketing transcend industry. Whether you’re in hospitality, retail, consumer goods, or professional services, the fundamentals remain the same: understanding your customers and creating experiences that resonate with them. I’ve worked with businesses of different sizes and stages, from ambitious start-ups to established brands. If your focus is on growing your customer base or deepening engagement, we’ll find common ground.

Do you work on short-term projects or longer retainers?

Both. Some clients bring me in for a specific project — such as a campaign, launch, or workshop — while others prefer an ongoing retainer for continued guidance and delivery. The approach depends on what will bring the most value to your business.

Can you work alongside our in-house team or agency?

Absolutely. Many of my projects involve working hand-in-hand with internal teams, agencies, or other partners. I see my role as complementary, adding extra perspective, expertise, and capacity where it’s needed most.

What if I’m not sure what I need?

That’s common. Many clients start with a strategy session or an exploratory call where we map out your challenges and opportunities. From there, I’ll suggest the best way forward.

What makes you different from other consultants?

I care about making a real impact for the people I work with. My experience spans both operations and marketing, and across different industries, so I understand the challenges businesses face from the inside out. My focus is always on solving your problems and that’s what I genuinely enjoy.

My life experience has taught me to be agile, and I bring that adaptability to my work. I don’t like messing around, so I work with urgency and focus. I’m naturally curious and ask the right questions to get to the heart of the problem.

What I won’t do is make false promises. If someone tells you they can transform everything overnight, that’s not realistic and it’s usually nonsense. Real change takes clarity, focus and the right actions, and I’ll bring you along the journey every step of the way.

Do you only work with UK brands and businesses?

No. While I am based in the UK, just outside London, I also work with international brands and businesses. I have experience delivering marketing strategies and campaigns across markets including the United States, France, and Germany. Whether your business is local, national, or international, I can adapt my approach to suit your audience and goals.
